From Mrs. Pankow:
I love seeing the kids, having fun with all of them, and making them smile. It is important to me to provide a safe zone for children, being a trusted adult that they can talk to and come to me with questions or concerns.
Fun fact: the kids always want me to create nicknames for them and call them by their nickname.
I love being creative with the kids, from developing art contests to taking walking field trips to the pizzeria or bakery in town. I want the students to see all the possibilities they have and find new opportunities for interests and activities.
I am a Milwaukee native and have been a part of the Christ Alone family for many years. I helped started the after school program and have been involved for the last 10 years.
Prior to Christ Alone, I was a member of North Trinity in Milwaukee. I have 3 grown sons and 8 grandchildren ranging from 19 months to college age. I’m with children, whether at the center or with my grandchildren just about everyday. If you don’t find me with children, you’ll find me getting lost in nature at countless parks, paths, and nature centers near and far.
