Performing Arts

All Christ Alone Lutheran School (CALS) students have the opportunity to explore their musical talents, from a first-time experience to strengthening their musical and performing ability for years.

Vocals / Choir

All students are schedule to sing for church services occasionally throughout the school year. Additionally, all students in grade 5-8 are eligible to participate in Junior Choir. The choir practices once a week and also sings in church during the school year.

Plays & Musicals

Grades 7-8 and grades 1-2 will be performing a play or a musical in the spring of 2022. In the spring of 2023, grades 3-4 and 5-6 will be putting on their play or musical. This ensures that all students in grades 1-8 can participate in a play every two years. Stay tuned as we announce the play or musical line-up.

Band

Band is provided in conjunction with Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School LES Band program.

KMLES Band Schedules

Handchimes / Handbells

For students eager to expand their musical experience, handbells and handchimes are offered. Students practice once a week and perform in church during the school year.

  • The handchime choir is open to students in grades 5-6
  • The handbell choir is open to students in grades 7-8

Instrument Lessons

  • Piano lessons – Students in grades K-8 have the opportunity to take piano lessons on-site. Mrs. Ericson offers lessons during the school day. Students are excused from class for weekly lessons.
  • Band instrument lessons – Students in grades 5-8 may participate in instrument lessons through Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School Grade School Band lesson program. Lessons are offered on-site each week.
