3K and 4K Preschool

Welcome to Preschool!

The dedicated, caring staff teach God’s Word as a foundation while encouraging children to grow spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally.

Need Flexibility?

Our preschool offers flexibility for your family and child’s needs. You can choose to send your child to school 3, 4, or 5 mornings a week. We also now offer an All Day option. 

We will have separate 3K and 4K rooms for the mornings. Then, in the afternoons, the students that are attending will join together with one teacher. 

We also have onsite after school care to accommodate working parents from 3:05 – 6pm.

Preschool Curriculum

Our preschool utilizes the High Scope Curriculum model which promotes independence, curiosity, decision making, cooperation, persistence, creativity and problem solving skills in young children.  There are eight content areas in this curriculum that address young children’s development:

  1. Approaches to learning
  2. Mathematics
  3. Social and emotional development
  4. Creative arts
  5. Physical development and health
  6. Science & technology
  7. Language, literacy & communication
  8. Social studies

The objectives of our curriculum seek to:

  1. Nurture a faith in Jesus in young children 
  2. Instill a love for learning
  3. Enhance all areas of child development to prepare for school readiness
  4. Encourage parents to maintain an active worship life at home, church, and school
  5. Form an educational partnership between teachers and parents

Our preschool is set up with a variety of learning centers that will change monthly. These include the following topics: 

  1. Bible
  2. Alphabet/ literacy/ library/ writing table
  3. Transportation
  4. Math/ puzzles/ games
  5. Art
  6. Science      
  7. Music
  8. Pretend
  9. Blocks and building

Throughout the entire school year the students will be observed and rated using a developmental checklist from the High Scope curriculum. This should provide an accurate measure of each child’s development and school readiness. Parent-teacher conferences will be held after first and third quarters to discuss progress.
