Mr. Dan Rick
Grades 3 & 4
From Mr. Rick:
When I think about Christ Alone Lutheran School (CALS), one of the first things that comes to mind is that it is a school that cares about its families and teachers. I enjoy the family atmosphere that is exemplified by everyone here. We have a love for Christ and it radiates throughout our school. I am looking forward to being a part of this vibrant and exciting ministry for years to come!
I graduated from Martin Luther College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education in 2011. I was assigned to St. John’s Lutheran in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, where I was blessed to serve for 8 years as principal and the upper grades teacher. In 2019, I accepted a call to serve as grades 3&4 and the athletic director here at CALS. The 2019-2020 school year was my first year in this role.
I enjoy the outdoors and all sporting activities. During the winter you find me on my snowmobile and in the summer on my kayak or paddleboard. I also like playing in volleyball and softball leagues/tournaments with my friends.
