Grade 7 Morning Teacher
From Mrs. Russow
It is an honor and a blessing to teach at a faith-based school like Christ Alone where all subjects are taught in the light of God’s Word. I am committed to inspiring kids to be lifelong learners and to work to the best of their God-given abilities.
A native of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, I graduated from Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School. Following my graduation from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2004, I taught English and Bible classes at a WELS mission church in Taichung, Taiwan for two years. I went on to teach in inner-city Milwaukee for two years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. Upon his graduation from seminary, my husband, Joel, was assigned to be a pastor in Tallahassee, Florida, and I became a homeschool educator for our four children, Jude, Eli, Rachel, and Isaiah. During our homeschool years, I enjoyed teaching all subjects in Pre-K through 7th grade to my own children and to other children in our homeschool group. When my husband accepted a call to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2022, we moved to Mequon and now we are excited for our children to attend a Lutheran elementary school.
When I’m not teaching kids, you can find me perusing the library, attending book club, setting out on a travel adventure with my family, and attempting to grow a garden.
