What a privilege it has been to work with God’s littlest lambs over the past 2 decades. I am beyond blessed that my job is to share the message of God’s love and forgiveness with such young souls.
I began my teaching career in 1997, when I graduated from Martin Luther College with a degree in Elementary Education. I was asked to emergency teach for a Kindergarten class at an ELS school in the small town of Holton, MI. I stayed at this call until my husband, Patrick and I were married in 1999. During his schooling at the Seminary, I taught at St. Philip’s Lutheran School in the intercity of Milwaukee. I was there for two years then moved to Big Rapids, MI for my husband’s Vicar year. While there I taught 4K at a local HeadStart program. After his Vicar year he was asked to emergency teach at East Fork Highschool on the Apache Indian Reservation in Whiteriver, AZ. I was again fortunate enough to find another job with the local HeadStart program.
I was blessed to play the role of stay-at-home mom until 2011 when I went back to teaching fulltime. I taught 4K and Kindergarten at Good Shepherd Lutheran in Deltona, FL for 5 years. We moved to Appleton, WI in 2015 and I taught 4K for another 7 years. I have been at Christ Alone since 2024.
We have three amazing children; Lindsey, Josh and Greta and two very spoiled dogs named Max and Red. Our family enjoys rooting for the Milwaukee Brewers, spending time relaxing and fishing at the lake, watching movies and snuggling the puppies.
